Have you ever had a moment when you are in the middle of your work day and you realize that: THIS IS WHAT I WAS MEANT TO DO?! The day was October 7th, 2017...

... and it was 45 minutes before the ceremony of my darling couple Tiffany and Brady. Despite the sweltering heat, all was going as planned - a wedding planner's dream scenario. And then .... CRASH!

Yes, you heard me, C R A S H

Come to find out, half of the draping that was in the Barn (where the ceremony was going to take place, where all of my bride's rustic / 'a touch of country' wedding dreams came true) had fallen down. No, no, no (!)

- pause - Kate, why are you telling us this? Why are you sharing that something went wrong? Well folks, thats because sh*t does happen! Even on one of the most important days of a couple's life.

But it was in this moment where I had my a-ha! moment. I am a wedding planner, and I am a good wedding planner. Nothing was going to stop me from doing my JOB.  Me and my team AND the most amazing groomsmen, father's, and strong wedding guests (who arrived early) hopped into action to make sure that not only did the bride and groom never know BUT that this wedding day was going to be everything that they dreamed of.

:: DISCLAIMER:: My couple ended up finding out what happened - so no surprises here in this post!

Tiffany and Brady's wedding day continued without haste and it was the perfect, quaint and rustic affair at the Groom's close family friend's home. With rustic farm tables, a touch of burlap, and soft pink hydrangeas, we brought a little country chic to the hills of Castaic, CA.
