When Samantha and I met to discuss her wedding day, we both couldn't shake the feeling that we had crossed paths before. Low and behold we went to the same high school together and even participated in the same Girl Scouts chapter (...yes, your girl here was a Scout - I did it for the cookies) We immediately got to work crafting a blush and gold detailed fiesta!  With traditional papel picado tissue paper banners, a custom piñata, and a Border Grill food truck stocked with freshly made tacos, we knew it would be the perfect summer party underneath the Pasadena stars.

As Samantha and Cesar's special day approached, we were thrown a curve ball (to say the least) with the venue changing over event directors, which required all hands on deck in terms of logistics and organizing. Watching these two bond together and move forward with such determination, grace, and love solidified this wedding planner's heart that this, THIS is what it all about. Coming together, working together, and embracing that wedding planning can be unpredictable sometimes.

As the sun set on what felt like the hottest day of the summer, guests were treated to homemade Agua Frescas and piping hot churros (I still think about these from time to time).  The couple then danced the night away with their closest family and friends only to be embraced in a large circle of the remaining guests as they all swayed to the last song of the night.

Te amo my sweet friends -
